E.P.D.M Rubber Roofing
EPDM roofing systems provide excellent UV and weather resistance as well as sheet flexibility and high elongation. Systems are fully adhered, have a class “A” fire-rating, and a 40yr Manufacturer’s Warranty. EPDM is a fraction of the weight of asphalt roof systems, and its longevity is twice that of a tar + gravel system, and four times that of a modified asphalt system. Gone are the days of cleaning rock from your gutters, and you do not need to be concerned the torch-applied modified might start a house fire. Troost will fabricate and install metal caps customized to your chimney’s specific dimensions. The caps are a two-piece system, with the base being secured to the chimney, and the secondary top being removable for cleaning and maintenance purposes. The caps are fabricated from 22 gauge galvanized steel and all seams are soldered. Special features are built into the cap to prevent water from running down the sides of the chimney, which if given time, can deteriorate the siding/stucco/grout. The secondary top has screening to trap sparks and embers, and which keeps critters out. Custom chimney caps greatly enhance the longevity of the chimney.
